Medication Assistance Program (MAP)

How can we help?

We may be able to help you find no cost or low cost medications straight from the company that makes your medication. We will work with you and your doctor to see if the companies that make your drugs have prescription assistance programs. We do not pay for any medications, we do not pay for past medication costs, and we may not be able to help with all medications.

How does the program work?

You or your doctor may ask for our help with your medications. If your medication is available through the program, our staff will ask you some questions to see if you might qualify for help. If you do qualify for assistance, we will work with your doctor and the drug company’s assistance programs to help you get your medication.

What will the medicine cost?

Most medications are provided to you at no cost. In some cases you may be able to get discounted medicine. Some pharmaceutical companies may require a small fee for your medicine.

Do I qualify for help?

You may qualify for help with your medicine if you:

  • have no prescription coverage
  • are in your coverage gap or your insurance no longer covers your medication
  • meet total household gross income guidelines (Proof of income is required)
  • Live in: Sharp, Fulton, Stone, Independence, Marion, Baxter, Izard, Cleburne, Van Buren, Searcy, or White county.

Please have a list of medications, prescribing doctor information, and your total household gross income information from ALL sources ready when you call.
