Hands on Healthcare

“Hands on Health Care” Series

“Hands on Health Care” is a one day program designed to offer junior and senior high school students an opportunity to experience careers in a health care setting by providing them with “hands-on” experiments and lectures, hoping to spark an interest in a health career.

To participate in the “Hands on Health Care” program the students must demonstrate above average scholastic ability as reported by school transcripts, complete all fields on the application form and a parent/guardian must sign the permission slips. All applications will be reviewed by the “Hands on Health Care” selection committee. The class is limited to 12 participants.

“Hands on Health Care” is offered once a semester during the school year.

Contact your local school counselor for additional information and program dates.
